Child Safety Standards

Scope

These standards apply to TheSocialMediaIsMine (listed on Google Play as "TheSNSisMine"), an app published by ULTRA XPERIENCE INC. They cover both the iOS and the Android version.

What is prohibited

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is not permitted in any form. The following are prohibited when using this app:

• Viewing, storing, sharing or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Sexual contact with or solicitation of minors, including grooming
• Sexualising minors, and threats made using sexual imagery (sextortion)
• Trafficking of minors, and any other conduct that endangers a child

These acts are prohibited under Japanese law and under the laws of other countries.

How the app works, and where to report

This app is a browser for viewing the Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and X websites. It neither stores nor serves content. What appears on screen is delivered by those companies, and posting and replying happen through each site's own features.

For content you come across on any of those sites, the fastest and most reliable route is that site's own reporting tool, because only that platform can act on the post or the account directly.

We also accept reports through this app. Either route is fine.

How to report

• In the app: Settings tab → "Report a Bug / Feedback" → choose "Report a child safety concern" and describe what you saw

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In Japan, dial 110.

What happens after a report

We review every report we receive and take the following action:

• Reporting the content to the platform it appeared on
• Reporting to the relevant authorities and specialist bodies, as required by law

For matters within Japan we report to the National Police Agency and the Internet Hotline Center Japan. For matters involving other countries we report to the relevant bodies, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
